Getting Started

This five-session Bible study series is designed to help you gather & equip a group of students who are seeking to discover more about Jesus, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and live out his command to ‘Go!’ be a witness to others. It’s a guide to planning fun & interactive gatherings where you can build community and learn & grow together. Each session includes interactive discussions, practical challenges, biblical encouragement, and reflections on what it means to follow Jesus as a student.

Getting Started is best used in small groups. Groups of 10 or fewer are ideal (if your group is bigger, consider splitting into smaller groups). Start by inviting others - friends, coursemates, or anyone curious about Jesus to join you. Once you have gathered your group, pick a place and time to meet, keeping in mind sessions last about 90 minutes. Anyone can lead a Getting Started group - no previous experience required! All you need to do is review the session beforehand, gather any necessary materials, and pray.
