Content Lead
About the Role
The Content Lead role plays an integral part in our Central Communications team, helping Agapé UK communicate our heart and passion to the wider world. This role requires a combination of creativity, great communication skills and organisation, a willingness to learn and adapt, and the ability to effectively manage a variety of processes and information. They would hold responsibility for writing and commissioning content that is both inspiring and engaging for specific audiences, across web, social media and print.
The main areas of work would include project managing a wide range of creative projects such as supporter mailings and resources and managing the organisation's primary website. Much of this work involves liaising with internal teams, senior leaders, and external consultants like designers. Key responsibilities also cover managing data and mailing processes, responding to organisational queries, and helping to ensure all communications adhere to the established house style.
About You
We are seeking a highly committed, reliable, and flexible individual who maintains a strong personal faith and dedication to Agape’s mission. The ideal candidate will be an efficient, detail-oriented initiative-taker with strong written communication skills and an eye for the big picture and good design. They must be highly computer literate (including familiarity with Microsoft Office, and preferably WordPress and database maintenance) They need to be able to plan, act independently, and simultaneously project manage a variety of tasks, while also collaborating well within a team.
This person would work very closely with the Head of Communications, entrusted with a great deal of responsibility for maintaining Agape UK’s day to day communications. This person would be someone that we could see growing in leadership and so we would want to invest in their ongoing development, both in terms of professional training in key areas and practical skills, and in offering opportunities to get involved in wider Agape ministry experiences.
